REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS
As from 1st April 2019, the practice will no longer accept requests for repeat medication by telephone.
The practice is getting busier with more patients on repeat medication for ever increasing complex conditions. The decision has been made to minimise the risk of potential errors causing a significant event. We hope in making this change it will free up our phone lines for patients trying to contact us for other queries and also it will allow our receptionists to process repeat prescription requests without disturbance.
Repeat prescriptions may be requested in any of the following ways:
ONLINE VIA EMIS / PATIENT ACCESS - https://www.patientaccess.com

The safest and most secure way to order repeat medication online is to register for Patient Access at the practice. The reception team will be able to do this for you if you present with two forms of ID; one photo ID and one proving your address.
BY USING THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF YOUR PRESCRIPTION OR PRESCRIPTION REQUEST FORM
Please tick the items that you require on the right hand side of your prescription OR by completing a prescription request form from the practice and post in prescription box at the surgery or hand to the reception team.
BY POST
Send your prescription request to the surgery by post. If you require us to post your prescription back to you please enclose a stamped addressed envelope.
FOR ANY PATIENT WHO FEELS THEY ARE UNABLE TO COMPLY WITH ANY OF THE ABOVE METHODS OF ORDERING PLEASE CONTACT THE SURGERY TO DISCUSS FURTHER.
Due to the high volume of requests received by the practice each day please ensure you allow two full working days before collecting the prescription.

Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a Doctor, Nurse Practitioner or Practice Nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delay to any future prescriptions.
